All of them used to supply arms and ammunition to the active terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba on the instructions of their masters sitting in Pakistan.

Baramulla SSP Amod Nagpure has told the matter that on September 21, the police in Baramulla received information that Yasin Ahmed Shah, a resident of Jambajpora, was missing from home and had joined Lashkar.

On this, the police registered a case in Baramulla police station and started investigation. On September 22, a joint team of police, army and CRPF caught a terrorist during naka checking in Tapar Pattan.

Apart from this, he gave the names of his associates as Nagina, wife of Manzoor Ahmed Lone (resident of Vijipora Hajin) and Afreen alias Ayat, wife of Gulzar Ahmed Ghani (resident of Patpora Shalteng, Srinagar).

In another incident, security forces arrested three terrorist associates. Objectionable materials including arms and ammunition have also been recovered from them.

SSP Nagpur said that the joint forces of Baramulla Police and Army’s 8 RR, during naka checking at Paranpilan bridge in Uri, spotted two suspicious persons, who were coming from Dachi towards Paranpilan bridge.

During their search, 2 Glock pistols, 4 pistol magazines, 2 pistol silencers, 5 Chinese made grenades and 29 cartridges were recovered from them. They were identified as Zaid Hasan Malla, resident of Mir Saheb and Mohammad Arif Channa, resident of Stadium Colony, Baramulla.

They were involved in smuggling of arms and ammunition and distributing the same to Lashkar terrorists. A case was registered at Police Station Uri and investigation was conducted.

During this, he told the name of his colleague Aftar Ahmed Lohar resident of Surankot Poonch. Later he was arrested. 2 terrorists killed in Kashmir, Pak cash and weapons recovered.
