84 countries including America and India have supported Israel for action against Israel Hamas War. Whereas 14 Muslim countries including Iran and Pakistan are in support of Hamas.

On October 7, Laj Deen al-Qassam, the military wing of the Palestinian terrorist organization ‘Harakat al-Muqwana Islamiya’ (Hamas), attacked several Israeli cities with more than 3,000 rockets from secret bases in the Gaza Strip.

These rockets defeated the Iron Dome air defense system manufactured by Israel. Also, about 1500 Hamas terrorists in groups of 40-50, using various methods, broke the strong border fence on the Gaza Strip at several places.

Small groups of Hamas from northern Palestine entered Israel through tunnels, entered on bikes/SUVs and took civilians hostage.

In the south, Hamas militants used motorized para hand gliders/speedboats to attack the Desert Festival concert, killing about 220 people.

The day of the attack was Yom Kippur on October 6 and Sabbath on October 7. Which is the most important religious festival of the Jews.

Israel has confirmed that at least 1,200 people have been killed and 100 taken hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

Prime Minister M. Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the mobilization of the Israeli Defense Forces and a counteroffensive.

Warplanes bombed Hamas headquarters, camps, anti-air batteries, rocket launch pads and tunnel networks.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has confirmed 2,000 deaths, 4,000 injured and mass destruction of buildings, including residential complexes.

Rise of israel in Modern Era

The genocide by Nazi Germany during World War II saw large numbers of persecuted Jews from around the world immigrate to the region.

However, the arrival of Jews under British protection led to conflict with tribes of Arab origin.

On November 29, 1947, the United Nations planned the partition of Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. But the Arabs rejected it. Israel achieved statehood on May 14, 1948.

A new nation was born but with hostile Arab neighbours. In 2005, Israel’s then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon took a unilateral decision to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.

For security reasons, Jewish residents were forced to leave their homes despite resistance.

Gradually, all IDF installations were withdrawn as a goodwill gesture towards granting autonomy to the Palestinians for their own affairs. The whole world including the Arab community welcomed it.

84 countries including America and India have supported Israel for action against Hamas. At the same time, 14 Muslim countries including Iran and Pakistan supported Hamas. Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE remained neutral.

Palestine

The Gaza Strip, located on the south-western corner of Israel, with a population of about 1 million, is approximately 363 kilometers long.

It was handed over to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1993/94. and were allowed self-rule as part of a peace agreement under the United Nations.

Similarly, partial self-rule was started in the western coast (5900 sq. km. area) also with the aim of permanent peace.

Yasser Arafat, the founding chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) from 1969 to 2004, established Palestine. Ramallah was declared its capital. The Palestinian Legislative Council was formed.

Israel has always under threat from Hamas Terrorism

The current Chairman and President of Palestine is Mahmoud Abbas. In 2006, Hamas won legislative elections and took control of the Gaza Strip.

This group almost eliminated the PLO. And took over the role of continuing the so-called freedom struggle.

Israel has launched several operations since 2008 to neutralize the Hamas threat. After the bloody phase of 2008, 2012, 2014, 2021, now the never-ending story of Gaza continues in 2023.

Benjamin Netanyahu vows to end Hamas terrorism

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the pledge in his address to the nation. That Israel will now completely destroy Hamas.

He said that Hamas has started the war. And we will end this on our terms. And Israel will do everything in its power to end this threat once and for all.

Which country is on whose side in the ‘Israel Hamas War’

84 countries including America and India have supported Israel for action against Hamas.

Whereas 14 Muslim countries including Iran and Pakistan are in support of Hamas. Three countries, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and UAE remained neutral.

Israel in view of Indianness

In India, Veer Savarkar supported the formation of Israel on both moral and political grounds. And condemned India’s voting against Israel in the United Nations.

Guruji, the second leader of RSS, praised Jewish nationalism. And believed that Palestine was the natural territory of the Jews. And it is essential to fulfill their aspiration of nationalism.

Official relations between India and Israel

India officially recognized Israel on November 17, 1950. And allowed him to open the Consulate General in Mumbai in 1953.

Nevertheless this relationship remained of informal nature till 1992. After formal relations were established in 1992, defense and trade relations gained momentum. Israel soon became India’s second largest defense partner.

However, the two countries still did not have close relations. Ariel Sharon became the first Prime Minister of Israel to visit India in 2003.

He had to face widespread opposition from the Indian public, especially the Muslims of India.

Currently, Israel is in the hearts of the common people of India

Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel during this difficult time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

After the formation of the BJP-led NDA government at the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, relations between India and Israel started taking a friendly turn.

In 2015 and 2016, India abstained from participating in that voting in the United Nations.

In which it was discussed whether Israel should be brought before the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes during the 2014 Gaza crisis.

In 2017, Narendra Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel.

Today this relationship extends to a wide range from tourism to defence. From not recognizing Israel to becoming friends and now balancing relations with various countries, India has followed the principles of truth and justice.

Publicly and in principle, India still supports Palestine. And in 2018, New Delhi also hosted President Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamas terrorism attack is unprovoked and barbaric in nature

It is absolutely clear that the attack by Hamas is unprovoked and barbaric in nature.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted as a principled response…

Prime Minister Modi’s condemnation of the terrorist attack by Hamas and offer of support to Israel is being seen by the civilized world as a step in the right direction.
