Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the confidence we need to act to fulfill it has now risen across the country.
He spoke on the theme ‘Bharat in Amritakala’ on the fourteenth day of the lecture program by experts organized as part of the ‘Nanna Bharat’ campaign of the Dishabharat organization.
Many foreign historians also tell us that till 1700 AD, India was a prosperous country with one-third of the world’s gross domestic product. But India lost its intellectual and material wealth due to the constant invasion of foreign invaders and gained independence.
He said that all the schemes of the government today are once again trying to free India from intellectual slavery.

Since 1947, all the Prime Ministers have said that every government scheme should reach the common people. But Narendra Modi has done it. The schemes brought by the government in the last ten years have increased our confidence in being self-reliant.
It is with this confidence that the youth of India will be motivated to spend their next 25 years very actively for the all-round development of India.
11 crore youth have been imparted skill training under PM Kaushal Yojana for self-reliant India. 390 new universities have been started. 27360 crore rupees have been given for the construction of quality schools through PM Shri Yojana.
2700 crore has been encouraged for research and development in IITs. He said that the leakage of Rs 2.73 lakh crore has been prevented and taxpayers’ money is being saved due to increased schemes under the DBT system.
11.72 crore toilets have been built by the central government as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Saying that basic infrastructure is essential for India to become self-reliant. 39.76 lakh hawkers have received loans. 7351 crores have been given by SCST and Stand Up India for women’s self-reliance.
3 crore houses have been constructed for the poor under PM Awas Yojana. 2.86 Crore households have been provided electricity connection. He also informed that 9.76 crore cylinders have been distributed through Ujjwala Yojana.
The world is appreciating the role that the use of technology has made for the common good because of convenience. It has provided to India’s 80 crore smartphone users. Indian youth are contributing a lot in this field.
The Prime Minister himself discusses the implementation of all these schemes of the government. Through the Pragati online conference with the District Collectors every month. Sab Ka Saath Sabka Vikas is taking all common people into confidence. In addition, he felt that if every Indian works hard for the nation, India’s future will be prosperous.
